The Lipu Pass Road, also known as the New Road for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, was constructed thanks to the efforts of Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkariji. Previously, people had to travel a difficult trek to reach the Lipu Pass border, which is the Indo-Tibetan border, but now it is easily accessible by car.
Sadly, the New Road will open in 2024, but we won’t be able to enter Tibet because Chinese officials have ceased granting visas to Indian pilgrims. If the weather permits, we will still be able to visit Kailash Mansarovar Darshan Point from the border.
Dear Devotees,
For centuries, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra has held special significance for Hindus, Jains, Buddhists, and Bon followers. It is a place of unparalleled natural beauty, a divine abode where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati reside—a true paradise on Earth, located in Tibet.
Many people dream of undertaking the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra at least once in their lifetime. However, Embarking on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra requires physical, mental, and financial preparedness. However, due to its high cost and challenging routes, it is not feasible for every devotee.
Since 1992, Indo Nepal Holidays Pvt. Ltd. has been a pioneer in organizing the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, helping thousands of devotees complete this sacred journey. However, due to COVID-19, the pilgrimage has remained closed for the past five years. To fulfill the spiritual aspirations of devotees, our company has been organizing the Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra for the past two years in the holy land of Uttarakhand.
Adi Kailash, also known as Chhota Kailash, is located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and serves as an excellent alternative for devotees of Lord Shiva. This pilgrimage is more affordable and accessible, with fewer difficulties, making it an easier choice for Indian pilgrims.
During this sacred journey, devotees can visit numerous revered sites such as Om Parvat, Parvati Sarovar, Gauri Kund, Ved Vyas Cave, and Kalapani—offering a unique experience of both religious and natural beauty.
It is believed that during their exile, the Pandavas traveled towards Kailash via the Dharchula route to seek Lord Shiva’s blessings. Along the way, they considered Adi Kailash equivalent to Mount Kailash and worshipped Lord Shiva there.
Nearby Adi Kailash, one can also visit Pandav Parvat, Kunti Parvat, Draupadi Kund, and Bhim Kheti, reinforcing the belief in the Pandavas’ presence in the region.
So, come join us on this sacred pilgrimage and immerse yourself in the spiritual essence of Lord Shiva!
